About this device
The Mangmi Air Y Pro is a vertical Android handheld pairing a Snapdragon 865 with a 4.2 inch 1280x960 4:3 screen and dual analog sticks. It launched 12 August 2026 from $145.99.
The Mangmi Air Y Pro is a value play, and a strong one in a year when almost every handheld got more expensive. It pairs a Snapdragon 865 with a 4.2 inch 1280x960 screen in a vertical Game Boy shape, starting at $145.99. The 4:3 ratio is the smart part. Most competitors ship 16:9 panels that pillarbox nearly every retro system, while the Air Y Pro fills the screen with NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64, GameCube, and PS2 content. The 865 is a 2020 flagship, so calibrate accordingly, but mature Adreno drivers make it one of the best value emulation chips available. GameCube and Wii through Dolphin are genuinely strong and most of the PS2 library is playable. Dual analog sticks in this form factor are unusual and make that power usable. The tradeoff is 286 grams, which is heavy for a 4.2 inch device, much of it the 5,000 mAh battery.
