Retroid Pocket Duo

About this device
Retroid's first integrated dual-screen handheld. Two 120Hz OLED panels, 16:9 on top and 4:3 on the bottom, in a clamshell with no clips and no cables. Chipset, resolutions and price unannounced.
The Retroid Pocket Duo is Retroid's first handheld with two screens built into one body, teased on 7 September 2026. Retroid has confirmed two 120Hz OLED panels, 16:9 on top and 4:3 on the bottom, in a clamshell design, and the teaser line "No Clips. No Cables." makes clear it replaces the company's $69 clip-on Dual Screen Add-on. The 4:3 bottom panel is the detail worth watching. Nintendo DS screens are 256x192 and the 3DS bottom screen is 320x240, both exactly 4:3, so that shape holds them edge to edge. If Retroid reuses the Pocket Nova's 4.5 inch 1280x960 panel there, DS output would scale at exactly 5x and the 3DS bottom screen at exactly 4x. The 16:9 top screen is a closer match to the 3DS's widescreen top panel than to the DS's second 4:3 screen, which suggests a general purpose Android handheld with a proper second screen rather than a DS specialist. Chipset, screen sizes, resolutions, RAM, battery, stylus support, price and release date are all unannounced.
