Analogue Mega Sg+

About this device
The Analogue Mega Sg+ is a $219.99 FPGA Sega console on an Altera Cyclone V. It plays Genesis, Mega Drive, Master System and Game Gear cartridges region free at up to 1080p, keeps the Sega CD connector, and adds dongle free wireless.
The Mega Sg+ is the Genesis counterpart to the Super Nt+, announced alongside it on 16 October 2026 at $219.99. An Altera Cyclone V FPGA plays Genesis, Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear, Mycard, Mark III and SG-1000 cartridges region free, covering more than 2,200 titles, and the original style Sega CD connector is retained so a real Sega CD still attaches. A Master System cartridge adapter and a Sega CD spacer are in the box along with an HDMI cable, a USB-C cable, a 30W GaN power supply and two cartridge cleaners. The changes over the 2019 model match the Super Nt+: USB-C power, a USB-A port for the DAC and controller charging, an SD card slot, and Bluetooth plus 8BitDo 2.4GHz wireless with no dongle. Video is still capped at 1080p, and Analogue lists openFPGA, save states, screenshots, overclocking and the 4K Original Display Modes as unsupported. No controller is included.
