Anbernic RG Rotate

About this device
Anbernic's RG Rotate is an Android handheld with a 3.5-inch swiveling square 720×720 display, the first mainstream retro handheld with a rotating-screen hinge. It launched in May 2026 in Aurora Silver aluminum or Polar Black ABS.
The Anbernic RG Rotate is built around one clever idea, a square 720x720 screen that physically swivels on a hinge to match the game. For GBA, NES, SNES, arcade, and vertical shooters it is a genuine delight. The Unisoc T618 and 3 GB of RAM keep it firmly budget, so plan around 8 bit through PSP, Dreamcast, and most N64 rather than PS2 or GameCube. A small battery means shorter sessions. As a fun, affordable second device with real novelty, the Rotate offers something no other handheld does. Charming and distinct.
