Anbernic RG476H

Anbernic RG476H retro handheld

About this device

A horizontal mid-range Android handheld with a Unisoc T820, 8 GB of RAM, 3D Hall effect sticks, and a 4.7 inch 1280x960 120Hz LTPS screen for around $150.

The Anbernic RG476H is the value pick in Anbernic's Android range. It carries the same excellent 4.7 inch 1280x960 120Hz LTPS panel as the far pricier 477 models, plus 8 GB of RAM, 3D Hall effect sticks, and a comfortable horizontal body, for around $150. The Unisoc T820 sets the ceiling. Everything through PSP and Dreamcast is easy and a good slice of PS2 works, but GameCube and Switch are not really on the menu. Anbernic's claim that it handles most PS2 games oversells it. If your library stops around PS2 and you want the most screen and comfort per dollar, it is a genuinely smart buy.
