The GameMT MTX is an unannounced GameMT handheld reported to launch in China around 20 September 2026 and reach AliExpress by the end of that month. Its headline claim is a slot that plays physical Game Boy Advance cartridges alongside normal emulation, which would be rare at budget pricing. Two cautions apply. The claim comes from a single creator post rather than GameMT, with no specification sheet or storefront listing behind it. And GameMT teased a GBA cartridge slot on the E3 back in 2025, then shipped the E3 Vigor without one. If the slot is real it is almost certainly a cartridge reader feeding a software emulator rather than FPGA hardware, which changes how saves and real-time-clock games behave.
