It plays original Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges through FPGA hardware with zero input lag, wrapped in a premium magnesium shell with a gorgeous backlit screen. The scope is deliberately narrow. There is no Game Boy Advance, no emulators, and no adapters, by design. That focus is the point. If you want a faithful, beautifully built, purist Game Boy experience and nothing more, the Chromatic is wonderful. If you want one device that does more, the Analogue Pocket fits better.
