OneXPlayer 3

OneXPlayer 3 retro handheld

About this device

The OneXPlayer 3 is the first Intel Arc G3 Extreme handheld, a modular 3-in-1 with an 8.8 inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, detachable controllers, and a magnetic keyboard. A premium Windows do-everything device.

The OneXPlayer 3 is the first handheld built on Intel's Arc G3 Extreme, and it aims squarely at the top of the market. An 8.8 inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, up to 32 GB of RAM, and an 85Wh battery back a chip OneXPlayer pitches as RTX 4050 class, which is more than enough to emulate everything through PS3 and much of Switch and Wii U. The twist is the modular design. The controllers detach and a magnetic keyboard clips on, so it turns from a handheld into a tablet or a mini laptop. It runs full Windows 11, so it carries the usual driver and power tuning friction, and Intel Arc emulator maturity is still the open question. At $1,399 and up it is a luxury pick for people who want the newest silicon and a do everything form factor.
