The MagicX Pocket Dream is a vertical handheld with a 3.3 inch OLED, dual analog sticks and a 3,500 mAh battery in a 107 x 72 x 22 mm body. Price, release date and three of its four chipsets are unannounced as of the September 2026 reveal.

The MagicX Pocket Dream is the vertical sibling to the Mini Dream, revealed in September 2026. It shares that device's 3.3 inch custom OLED panel and the same four SoC variants spanning Linux and Android, at least one of which is a Rockchip RK3566. The body measures 107 x 72 x 22 mm with a 3,500 mAh battery, and MagicX pitches it for one-handed play and short sessions. The unusual choice is dual analog sticks on a 72mm-wide shell, which is narrower than a Miyoo Mini Plus and leaves very little room once two thumbstick modules are accounted for. On the RK3566 variant the emulation ceiling is 2D systems and most of PS1, which sits awkwardly against a control layout aimed at N64 and PSP. MagicX has said the design may change with community feedback, and the company has a track record of announcing devices that never ship.
