The Miyoo Flip does the thing budget handhelds usually get wrong. It protects its own screen. The clamshell folds shut with the 3.5 inch 640x480 IPS panel tucked safely inside, and the whole device weighs 165 grams. The Rockchip RK3566 clears everything through PS1 comfortably, with lighter N64 and Dreamcast titles playable and PSP largely out of reach. There are no analog sticks, so treat 3D systems as a bonus. Dual microSD slots make custom firmware painless, and KNULLI is the usual upgrade. Buy the V2 revision with the metal hinge, since the original drew durability complaints. Do not confuse it with the smaller Miyoo Mini Flip.
