AYN's two flagships solve different problems. The Thor is the definitive DS and 3DS machine. The Odin 3 is the most powerful Android handheld you can buy. Here is how to choose.

The Odin 3 is still the fastest Android handheld we have tested. It now costs $369 instead of $329 after three increases, and late batches ship UFS 3.1 instead of UFS 4.0. Here is whether it is still the one to buy.

The AYN Odin 3 brings a newer chip and a more pocketable 6 inch body. The Odin 2 Portal Pro answers with a huge 7 inch screen and a fully proven driver stack. Updated with October 2026 prices.

The AYN Odin 3 is the power flagship. The Retroid Pocket 6 is the value flagship. One has the faster chip and a bigger battery. The other costs $125 less and slips into a pocket. Updated with October 2026 prices.

A big 16:9 AMOLED, a 5500 mAh battery, and the strongest Anbernic chipset to date for $229. It is also the only flagship in this tier that has not raised its price in 2026. Here is the full review.

The only handheld with two AMOLED screens and a metal hinge, and the definitive device for DS and 3DS emulation. If you know why that matters, the AYN Thor is for you.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 power, a 5.5 inch 120Hz AMOLED, and a 6,000mAh battery for $244. The Pocket 6 absorbed a smaller 2026 price rise than its rivals, which makes it a better value now than at launch.

Same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, wildly different form factors. The RP6 is the best all-around Android handheld under $250. The AYN Thor is the only device that does DS and 3DS emulation right. Updated with October 2026 prices.
